Easy Game Day Sweet & Sour Chicken

Serves 8

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 c flour
  • 2 lbs chicken breast, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tbsp. white pepper
  • 1/4 c oil
  • 1 onion, small dice
  • 1 carrot, small diced
  • 3 tbsp. peas
  • 1 c crushed pineapple, with juice
  • 1 1/2 c water
  • 1/4 c brown sugar
  • 4 c cooked rice
  • Directions:

    Bread the chicken in a mixture of the flour, garlic salt, and white pepper. Set your FireDisc to HIGH and heat the oil for 2 minutes. Cook the chicken for 8 minutes, add the onion, carrot, and peas to the FireDisc and cook for another 5 minutes. In a separate bowl combine the pineapple with it's juice, water, and brown sugar mixing well. Reduce the heat to LOW and add the rice, cooking for 2 minutes, add the sauce and mix thoroughly. Cook for 3 more minutes moving the rice regularly. Serve and enjoy!
