  • 3 quarts (12 cups) popcorn
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 packet (0.13 oz. to 0.23 oz.) Kool-Aid unsweetened drink mix, any flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • Prepare your popcorn on low heat with oil on your FIREDISC® - pops about 12 cups
  • Spread popped popcorn evenly onto the bottom of a 15x10x1-inch pan
  • Bring sugar, corn syrup, and butter to boil in a medium saucepan on medium-high heat
  • Cook 3 minutes, stirring frequently
  • Remove from heat
  • Add drink mix and baking soda; mix well
  • Pour over popcorn and stir gently to evenly coat the popcorn
  • Bake 10 minutes
  • Remove from oven; stir
  • Repeat 3 times for a total baking time of 40 minutes
  • Spread onto a large sheet of waxed paper sprayed with cooking spray; cool completely
  • Break into pieces and serve or store!
