A sweet treat that includes heart healthy walnuts and antioxidant packing cocoa so no need to feel guilty for indulging. YIELDS 15 BALLS
  • 1/2 c walnuts
  • 1/4 c whiskey
  • 1 c vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 1/4 c coco powder
  • 1/4 c powder sugar
  • 1/8 c honey
  • Soak the walnuts in the whiskey overnight, reserve the liquid.
  • Bake the walnuts for 12 minutes at 325 F.
  • Crush the walnuts and combine all ingredients into a mixing bowl.
  • Place the bowl in the fridge with the mixture for a few minutes then roll the mix into small balls.
  • Top with a touch of powder sugar, cover, and place in the freezer. Enjoy!
