Steak & Brandied Mushrooms
- 4 Strip Steaks
- 1 lb Baby Portabella Mushrooms, quartered
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 c Brandy
- 1/4 c Cream
- 2 tbsp. Vegetable Oil
Set your FireDisc to High heat, add half the oil to the pan, and when hot sear the steaks on both sides (about 3 minutes per side). Flip every minute after searing for about 6 minutes. Move the steaks to the outside ring of the FireDisc.
Add the remainder of the oil to the pan and sauté the mushrooms until nice and brown, about 10 minutes. Reduce the heat to medium on the FireDisc and sauté the garlic for 2 minutes. Move the vegetables to the outer ring of the FireDisc.
Add the brandy to the pan and reduce the liquid to 1/4. Add the cream, a touch of salt and pepper, and cook for 2 minutes. Move everything back into the center of the FireDisc, spoon the sauce over steaks, serve and enjoy!
