Ingredients:
2 tablespoons FireDisc Bodacious Beef Seasoning
2 -2lb bone-in-rib-eye steaks, dry-aged (preferred)
1 tablespoon olive oil
6 tablespoons butter
4 shallots, diced
5 garlic cloves
2 sprigs thyme
Kosher salt
Directions:
Set your FireDisc to high. While warming, pat dry your steaks and season generously with Bodacious Beef Seasonings on both sides. Sear steak, starting with the fatty side. Sear all sides until browned, about 4 minutes per side. Adjust FireDisc to low and move steak to the outer ring of the FireDisc. Add your remaining ingredients to the center of the FireDisc and with a large spoon, baste your steaks. You may need to turn FireDisc off as to not over brown butter. Baste steaks for about 4 minutes for medium rare or 6 minutes for medium.
