BREADED TILAPIA AND ROASTED VEGETABLES

Outstanding Fish Fry. Saute' vegetables and use egg wash and bread crumbs to coat fish and lightly fry in your FIREDISC®

 

 

 


INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 filet of tilapia
  • ½ green bell peppers, sliced
  • ½ red bell peppers, sliced
  • ½ onion, sliced
  • 3 tsp of olive oil
  • 1/3 of jalapeno pepper, sliced
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tsp of flour
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
PREPARATION:
  • Chop all the vegetables and cook in the FIREDISC® set to medium high heat for about 5 minutes or until they are soft.
  • Set them aside and wipe down the FIREDISC® Set the FIREDISC® to high and add the oil.
  • While the oil is heating bread the fish by seasoning with salt and coating with flour.
  • Whip the eggs to create an egg wash, dip the floured fish into the egg wash and then into the bread crumbs.
  • Repeat the breading process one more time and then lightly fry the tilapia in the oil.
  • Cook for 5 – 10 min and remember to flip the fish whenever necessary to avoid burning the sides.
  • Remove the fish from the oil and allow to cool on a plate topped with a paper towel.
  • Serve with vegetables and enjoy!
