A twist on the typical Stroganoff, but every bit as good, try this chicken version that also vodka and white wine to give it a true Stroganoff flavor.


  • 1 Chicken breast diced into 1 ½ inch cubes
  • 2 tsp diced onions
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 3 tbsp vodka
  • ½ c cream
  • 3 tbsp white wine
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Place FIREDISC® on highest setting.
  • Season chicken with salt and pepper, add the olive oil to the FIREDISC® and brown the chicken on all sides (about 2 minutes per side).
  • Add the onions and the garlic to the pan and cook for 5 min, add the vodka and flambé* with a long lighter reducing till dry.
  • Add the wine and let it reduce 1/3 of the initial volume, add the cream, the paprika and allow to cook to desired consistency.
  • Serve with white rice, mash potato or baked potato.
  • *always use caution when flambéing. This method creates a flame that removes the harsh alcohol taste from liquor.
