The perfect Blind Breakfast for four. It is perfect as it is a one-pan meal, easily prepped ahead of time and portable to your blind.
INGREDIENTS:
- 3 Large Potatoes
- 1 lb. Bacon
- 6 Large Eggs
- 8 oz. Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Squirt of Milk
- The night before your hunt and Blind Breakfast be sure to prep your meal. These easy steps will make your breakfast a breeze. First, cut your pound of bacon into smaller pieces and put them into a quart Ziploc bag. You then cut your 3 large potatoes into smaller pieces and par-boil them until they just start to get soft. When done, drain, cool, and place in a quart Ziploc bag. The last bit of prep is to whisk 6 eggs with a squirt of milk and place in a quart Ziploc bag. To complete your prep place all your ingredients in your cooler, then into your boat or truck overnight. You don’t want to forget these in the morning!
- During a lull in the hunt, break out your FireDisc or other heated surface and bring to medium heat. Start creating your Blind Breakfast by frying your bacon. After it becomes almost done remove from the heat and begin to fry your potatoes in the bacon grease until they become crisp on the outside. Once your potatoes are crisp add your bacon, eggs, and Cheddar cheese and continue to stir ingredients together until eggs are fully cooked and cheese is melted. Serve and enjoy!
