Hearty, Meaty Chili with just the right amount of spicy for a filling meal no matter what the season, but great on a cool night.

  • 5 oz Ground beef (seasoned with salt & pepper)
  • 2 tsp diced onions
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Tabasco
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 2 tsp Don Pico jalapenos
  • 3 tbsp white wine
  • One handful Fritos chips
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Tomato sauce or water – if necessary
  • Place the FireDisc on high heat and add the olive oil.
  • Sear the ground beef until nice and brown on both sides (about 2 minutes per side).
  • Add the onions and sweat them for about 5 min, add the tomato paste and cook for another 5 min.
  • Add the mustard, the Worcestershire and the Tabasco allow to cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add the wine and let it reduce to 1/3 of the initial volume.
  • If the chili becomes dry or you if you prefer add 2 tbsp of water or your favorite tomato sauce.
  • Let it cook for 1 hour to 1 and half hours over medium heat adding the don pico jalapenos at the end.
  • Serve atop Fritos Chips and enjoy!
