STEAMED SALMON WITH AVOCADO CITRUS SALSA AND STEAMED ASPARAGUS

INGREDIENTS:
  • 4 (6 oz) skinless salmon fillets
  • 8 tsp honey , divided
  • 8 tsp all-purpose flour , divided
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • Fine sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • SALSA
  • 1 large hass avocado , peeled, cored and diced
  • 1/3 cup chopped red onion (I like to run under cool water to remove harsh bite)
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 2 small navel oranges , peeled, segmented and diced*
  • 1 tsp lime zest
  • 2 Tbsp lime juice
  • 1 cloves garlic , minced
  • 3 Tbsp cilantro , chopped
  • Fine sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
PREPARATION:
  • Firedisc on medium - water, steaming gratee and lid - heat until water is boiling
  • Add Salmon to the Grate, Add lemon slices on top of the salmon with salt and pepper to taste
  • Add asparagus and steam along with salmon
  • Cover with Lid for about 15 minutes
  • Prepare the salsa - chop up the onions, cilantro, garlic, avocados and Oranges.
  • Add all ingredients into bowl - add in lime juice, sea salt and pepper to taste, mix together
  • Serve on a bed of spinach, add salmon, asparagus and top with the citrus salsa
