Zach Stewart

“FireDisc gives the portability to provide a true Maine Guide experience but give the functionality to give some real flare on a remote island or deep in the Maine woods.”

Lakeside Lodge and Marina has been a staple of Cobbossee Lake since the 1930’s when a railway station used to deliver guests to the open air dance pavilion on Island park. Just 3 short years ago Lakeside Motel was acquired by Travis Mills and Zach Stewart to start the transformation of Lakeside into a sought out Maine Fishing Resort on one of the nations best bass fishing lakes on the East Coast.

While Travis Mills is the nations hero, Zach Stewart is the Maine native that used to ride his bike to Sabattus Lake every day after school at the age of 13 to go bass fishing and follow his dad to mosquito infested streams deep in the Western Maine woods for native brook trout and amazing stream-side lunches. Zach’s primary focus at Lakeside is bass fishing and providing excellent guided experiences to the guests of Lakeside. When he’s not at the lodge, you can find Zach fly fishing at the Grand Lake Stream, bow hunting on Maine Coastal Island, chasing Maine’s big woods bucks in the bigelow’s, deep in the Allagash looking for ruffed grouse, or canoeing with his family down the Ellis River. It is adventure that Zach seeks, and having this company to share it with makes the experience much better.
