The Secret to make Rib Eye steak flavorful is adding mushrooms, Jack Daniels, spices and a little wine.
Use FIREDISC® to grill to the perfect temperature of your choosing.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 each Rib eye steak
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 tsp diced shallots
- ½ c portabella mushrooms
- ½ c cream
- 2 tbsp Jack Daniels Whisky
- 2 tbsp White wine
- 1 tsp diced garlic
- salt and pepper to taste
- Season the steak with salt and pepper and sear it on the FIREDISC® with the olive oil.
- When they are cooked to the desirable point take them off the FIREDISC® and set aside.
- Add the garlic, the onions and the mushrooms to the pan and cook for about 5 min.
- Add the Legacy Whisky and flambé allowing it to reduce all the way.
- Pour the wine and let it reduce 1/3 of the volume then add the cream.
- Let it cook until the desirable consistency and season the sauce with salt and pepper.
- Add the steak back to the pan to warm and enjoy!
