RIB EYE W/ LEGACY WHISKY MUSHROOM SAUCE

Legacy Whiskey, white wine, mushrooms and cream make Rib Eyes the steaks of choice. Start up the Firedisc and get ready for a great cook out.

 

 


INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 each Rib eye steak
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tsp diced shallots
  • ½ c portabella mushrooms
  • ½ c cream
  • 2 tbsp Legacy Whisky
  • 2 tbsp White wine
  • 1 tsp diced garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste
PREPARATION:
  • Season the steak with salt and pepper and sear it on the fire disc with the olive oil.
  • When they are cooked to the desirable point take them off the fire disc and set aside.
  • Add the garlic, the onions and the mushrooms to the pan and cook for about 5 min.
  • Add the Legacy Whisky and flambé allowing it to reduce all the way.
  • Pour the wine and let it reduce 1/3 of the volume then add the cream.
  • Let it cook until the desirable consistency and season the sauce with salt and pepper.
  • Add the steak back to the pan to warm and enjoy!
